FOLKLORE AND COSTUMS PARTS Mljet's traditional costume is combination of white and red colour. Red skirt is made of wool, and probably is undertaken from Dinaric rasp which was worn first as a dress and now as a skirt. Other parts of costume are white shirt with embroidery and lace, cap (škufija), kerchief (krpa), belt (pas), waistcoat (bezrukavnica) and jacket (jaketa). |
